DE LA COMBE, E. (fl.1825-1835) — Calcutta
Engraver, publisher and paper manufacturer. Produced T. A. Frant, Plan of Rangoon and the vicinity ca.1825; J. Schalch, Plan of the city of Calcutta and its environs 1828.
His first name is sometimes given as Ernesto. The Bengal Government subscribed for thirty copies of his “Architectural drawings and plans of buildings adapted to the climate of India” 1825-1826. He later engraved the die for the local half anna coin for the Calcutta mint. He died at Calcutta 11 Jul 1835.
