Globemaker. Alfred Bonnet & Co. were listed as globemakers in 1856 — a directory entry for the previous year gives Alfred Bonnet & Co. “commission merchants & importers of foreign goods, moderator lamps, globes &c” .
The tenancy in Noble Street appears to have expired beyond 1856, but he was possibly the Alfred Bonnet of “Bonnet & Guth”, merchants at 82 Watling Street, as well as with a Paris address at 16 Rue Lepeletier, in 1865.
