ROOD, William (fl.1851-1856) — Southampton
Ordnance Survey engraver.
Born in Scotland in or about 1821, Rood was working for the Ordnance Survey in Southampton in 1851, resident in South Stoneham with his Scottish wife Louisa, three daughters born in Scotland, and a son born in Southampton. He died at South Stoneham in the latter part of 1856.
