Globemaker.
Born at Frome, Somerset, 18 Jan 1822 and baptised there 30 Sep 1829, the son of Joseph Oxley (1800?-1849), maltster and cooper, and his wife Eliza Hiscocks (1803-1883), who had married at Bath in 1819. Recorded as a globemaker at the time of his marriage to Harriet Parfitt (b.1821) at St. Mary Haggerston 19 Jan 1845. He has not been further traced.
